1.  Research Interests:

(a) Soil- reinforcement interaction by shear and pullout tests of geosynthetics/thin cement composite in soil etc. (b) Stability Analysis of Earth Dams, Seepage Analysis of Earth Dams, Earth Pressure Theories etc. (c) Mechanical behavior of thin cementitious composite/ fiber cement/ferrocement/concrete etc. (d) Use of  recycled aggregates in cementitious composites and concrete etc. (e) Flexural, compression, impact and pearmeability tests of cementitious composites. (f) Consolidation, shear, triaxial compression and permeability tests of soils. (g) Numerical analysis using the Finite Element Method.

2002 April - 2005 March: Cementitious composite with recycled aggregates for environmental conservation. 2004 April - 2007 March: Performance based design of agricultural structures. 2006 April - 2010 March: Porus Cementitious Composites with Recycled Aggregates. 2007 April - 2011 March: Performance and Conservation of River Embankments in Bangladesh.
