*NoHo Children's Art and Poetry Festival*(October 2, 2004)
Members will work in arts and crafts booth and help with face painting, tye-dying, and making puppets and rock creatures.

*Little Tokyo Mural*(October 23, 2004)
Help repaint the murals located near Little Tokyo to keep Los Angeles looking great.

*Carver Carnival* (May 8, 2004)
Volunteers helped out at the annual Carver Carnival held on Saturday at the elementary school. We helped out at the booths and also set up and cleaned up.

*Project Chicken Soup* (April 4, 2004)
We helped cook meals for those with HIV/AIDS, their loved ones, and their caregivers. Afterwards, we personally delivered the food to them at their homes.

*Shane's Club Play Date* (March 27, 2004)
Zethusian's members helped out at Aidan's Place Playground in Los Angeles by checking in kids and families, doing arts & crafts or facepainting, or just facilitating their play (helping kids with disabilities, etc.).

*ARTScorpsLA Spring Equinox Festival* (March 11~20, 2004)
At La Tierra de la Culebra Park, volunteers helped out with building, painting, setting up, cleaning up, and serving food for a daylong festival to celebrate the spirit of community through arts, music, culture, entertainment, activism, and action!

*Little Tokyo Samurai Parade* (March 14, 2004)
Volunteers helped out at the Little Tokyo Samurai Parade, which was held due to the popularity of the movie, The Last Samurai. Samurai warriors dressed in armor over 300 years old participated in the parade! Zethusians helped by barracading, patrolling, setting-up, and answering any questions at the information desk.

*Environmental Education Garden* (March 13, 2004)
Volunteers helped garden at the Daniel Webster Middle School, giving children an opportunity to grow in an environmentally conscious atmosphere.

*ARTScorpsLA Community Planting* (February 28, 2004)
At this event, some volunteers helped re-paint Spiraling Orchards Park in Los Angeles while others helped with planting on a nearby street. We installed plants in sidewalk medians and helped make stepping stones to be laid around the plants. Pictures are available for this event too. =)

*Tournament of Roses Float Building* (December 26-30, 2003)
Volunteers helped decorate the Salvation Army Float for the 2004 Tournament of Roses. For each hour that a volunteer worked, Sutio Concepts, Inc. donated $1 to support the South Central Community Center and the Los Angeles Pico-Union Red Shield. We raised about a total of $124! *Annual Zethusians Toy Drive* (December 2003)
This year, Zethusians held a toy drive for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Members purchased toys and made holiday cards for the sick children.

*Salvation Army Food/Toy Sorting* (December 12-13, 2003)
Volunteers helped sort food and toys collected by the Salvation Army, which were to be distributed during the Holiday Season! =)

*Union Station Gift Wrapping* (December 2003)
Every Saturday of September, two to three volunteers helped wrap holdiay gifts from REI sports in Arcadia.

*Pasadena Doo Dah Parade* (November 23, 2003)
We attended the annual Doo Dah Parade in Pasadena from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM. We helped set up and aided the participants of the parade.

*3rd Annual NoHo Children's Art & Poetry Festival* (October 4th, 2003)
We went to a daylong festival for children and their families, to experience hands-on visual and theatre arts workshops including: paper making, stenciling, fun with clay, wind chimes, musical instruments, jewelry treasures, other arts and crafts projects, improvisation, hip-hop poetry, entertainment, public performances, refreshments & FUN! =) We helped set up, aided the artists at various booths, and cleaned up.

*Tofu Festival* (July 20, 2003)
For 8 years, the Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) in association with Japanese American Cultural and Community Center (JACCC) has produced the L.A. Tofu Festival. There was great food, entertainment, art, shopping, and fun for all ages. =) We helped out with the numerous booths there from 2:30-6:30.

*Absolut Chalk* (June 27-29, 2003)
We volunteered at an art festival involving over 400 artists in Pasadena. We helped setup on Friday, June 27th; the actual festival was from Saturday to Sunday during which we helped out at various booths or welcomed visitors to the festival.

*Zethusians Fundraiser*
Zethusians held a fundraiser at Lacy Park. We sold ice cream sundaes and root beer floats. =D

*Art & Project Leader* (February 8, 2003)
We participated in a community cleanup sponsored by ArtsCorpsLA. We went to Spiraling Orachard near downtown LA and helped with repainting the area.

*Toy Drive* (December 17, 2002)
Each member chose at least one child for the toy drive. The children had provided a small wish list of toys they would like for the upcoming holidays, and we bought one of the toys on the list. The gifts along with personalized cards were sent to the children of Five Acres, a child abuse and neglect prevention treatement and education center in the San Gabriel Valley.

*Food Drive* (December 10, 2002)
Each member of Zethusians was assigned to bring two cans or packages of food for the food drive. We were able to produce a total of two large baskets of food. We brought all sorts of food, including corn, beans, gravy, stuffing, soup, rice, jello, and fruits.

*Season's Treasures* (November 24, 2002)
Season's Treasures was an event where vendors sold things from pillows to jewelry to holiday decorations. We helped the vendors with whatever needed help, including selling, arranging, and cleaning up.

*Little Tokyo Casino Night* (November 24, 2002)
The Little Tokyo Casino Night is another event organized by the Little Tokyo Public Safety Association. We helped set up for the Casino night by helping stuff giveaway bags, carrying boxes of prizes, assisting with registration, and made a large balloon arch for decoration.

*Hauntington Breakfast* (October 26, 2002)
San Marino held its annual "Hauntington Breakfast" at Huntington Middle School. Volunteers helped out at the booths as well as with serving the food.

*Little Tokyo Sparkle* (October 12, 2002)
We volunteered for the Little Tokyo Public Safety Association and helped clean up Little Tokyo. They assigned us a section and we swept up the whole area. We found some pretty gross things! =P
