Because the Suzuki manual is so expensive i have provided some of its reccomendations for fuel, coolant and oil on this page. (Expect actual instructions for procedures such as derestriction and maintenance in the future) Fuel- Unleaded is reccomended as the two stroke oil should provide all the lubrication that the piston requires.. Engine Oil- Suzuki CCI Super Oil is formaulated to give the best engine performance with least combustion chamber deposits, least preignition, maximum spark life and best lubrication. If it is not available, a good quality two-stroke oil should be used. I use Castrol Super TT, its slightly expensive at just over a fiver for a litre but at least its a name i know and can trust and its not the most expensive on the market.. Transmission Oil- Use a good quality SAE 10W/40 multi-grade oil. Front Fork Oil- Use fork oil # 10 Brake Fluid- Dot 4 Cooling Solution- Use an anti-freeze and summer coolant compatible with aluminium radiator, mixed with distilled water only, at a ratio of 50 : 50 (non distilled water can corrode and clog). |
