Dying continued...
Debra was zipped up in a body bag and put away in the ambulance.  October stood in the sidewalk and watched as the car Debra was in drive away.  They soon found out what had happened to Karen.  Nothing was left of her.

"Hey boss, what do we do with the cat?" asked a fellow officer.

"I don't know, let's find him a good home."  responded  the chief.

The fellow officer picked the cat up and started to brush her long hair.  October meowed with sadness.  She missed her friend.  One of the other officers suggested a home for October.

"I'm sure Debra's parents wouldn't mind taking care of her,"  He proposed.

A week later an officer arrived at the home of Debra's parents.  He asked them if they wouldn't mind having the cat.  Gladly the Anderson's accepted.

That same day, the Anderson's went to visit Debra's grave.  They took October along with them.  As the parents mourned over her death, October walked towards the headstone and rubbed against it.  Out of nowhere, a voice started to sing very sadly.  October stood still as she heard.

...and now I know that love is dead...

     you've come to bury me...

there's nothing left here to pretend...

     and it fades....

     remember you promised me...

     I'm dying, I'm dying please...
