red eye type is my brother's site. he's a graphic designer so his stuff is pretty nice lookin. he also has some nice free anime desktops if you're into that sort of thing.
tom7 has some of THE coolest and cutest free fonts.
anne taintor has some cool stuff. it looks all retro and has cool text to go with the pictures like "gosh he went well with her drapes".
lis designs has some of the best diarlyand layouts ive ever seen. its a shame shes seems to have gone through some designing breakdown or something and quit making them. ive learned a lotta stuff by checking out the html on some of her layouts.
alee designs is a friend of lis designs and they're styles are pretty similar. she has some equally nice layouts too.
Deth p. Sun is my favorite artist at the moment. he does these wonderfully cute but kinda dark paintings of animals and kids in animal costumes
kozy n dan have some interesting illustrations. some are a little too wierd for me but i LOVE the ones with the bunnies.
giant robot is the coolest magazine. it's "asian pop culture and beyond". im especially fond of the artists they feature sometimes.
