| I have recieved numerous questions regarding the exhuast system. I don't have any pictures for you but here is a diagram of what it is. I bought an exhaust flange from Racing Beat. I used 2 inch tubing for the primaries (tubes coming out of the motor) and collected them about 6 inches away from the engine. I then ran a single 2.5 inch pipe that u-turns back towards the other side of the car. The exhaust gasses pass through a Racing Beat presilencer and then through a Magnaflow muffler located where the popular "Fat Boy" mufflers are located on normal VW engines. I had the system all welded up for $300 at a local muffler shop. It sounds great, its quiet at idle and then gets fairly loud running wide open. I like it. |
