we're not a cult. Members are free to come and go as they please, to share information with friends and relatives, and to challenge us at any point.
So many people, particularly young people, are confused about religion, and is it any wonder? All religions, sects and cults claim to know the answers, when – truth be known – they don't know much at all.
Were Christians to read the Bible they would discover that it's not all it's cracked up to be. The Old Testament is riddled with cruelty, horror and madness, while the New Testament contains not one word from anyone who met, saw or heard Jesus. It's mostly the ravings of one fanatical Turkish Jew – Saul of Tarsus (aka Saint Paul). Jews and Muslims do at least read their "holy" books but there are so many contradictions they can't make up their minds whether to love each other to pieces or blow each other to smithereens. Then we've got 1001 sects and cults to fill in the gaps left by the great religions, plus New Age hocus pocus, Wicca, Tarot, astrology... Is it any wonder that people are confused? ZenGnostics offers spiritual calmness. We can show you where truth is and it's nothing like as weird as you've been led to believe. You can never find the truth by searching for it. All you'll achieve is a frantic life. Attend one of our meetings, argue with us all you like, bring your "one true faiths", ancient wisdoms, divine revelations and mystic solutions, but be prepared to discard them once you've seen the light.
