Websites of various people Zen Harper knows:
(these sites are all reasonably exciting, with many more nutritious links; if YOUR exciting website is not listed here, contact me!)

Some people (mathematicians) that I know:

Yemon Choi (ANALYSIS)Matt Daws (ANALYSIS) ,
Richard Elwes (LOGIC) ,
Mark Wildon (ALGEBRA),
Agatha C. Walczak-Typke (LOGIC)

Various mathematicians I know, but far more intelligent and eminent than me:

Prof. Ben Green (was in the year above me at Trinity. He's actually a nice person.)

Prof. Tim Gowers, Prof. Tom Körner (both very good lecturers; I am quite proud that I scored 118 out of 120 marks on Körner's Analysis exam questions as an undergraduate. Gowers wins the award for the best lectures I've ever attended, as well as many other more prestigious awards...)

Various people who don't know me, but have good websites:

Prof. Terry Tao
...and his highly excellent
maths blog

THAILAND-RELATED SITES:
some informative, interesting and amusing stuff.

Bangkok Post newspaper
.
Not The Nation (a sometimes hilarious spoof of The Nation newspaper).
.
Stickman Bangkok (not really dodgy, but does include some adult humour etc.; but also plenty of information about Thailand visas, work permits, etc. etc. etc.)

However, the visa and work permit situation in Thailand can be easily summarised - DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT unless you've got endless amounts of patience for tedious and pointless time-wasting and expensive bureaucracy and hassle, or are Thai {so don't need a visa!}, or if you're coming here as a 30-day tourist, or if you're working for a company with great experience of non-Thai employees which will sort out ALL the paperwork for you...
