Author’s Note
Well, it’s finally over…. and to tell you the truth I’m feeling a little sad. After all, I spent A LOT of time on it, writing approximately a chapter a week. But hey, it was fun while it lasted and I’ll probably start a Final Fantasy 7 story in a couple of weeks.
Just to let you people know, I know that Kempi Island is a really stupid name that had hardly anything to do with my story. You see, I wrote it chapter by chapter so at first I thought it was going to be an adventure story about Zell, one of my favorite FF characters. Then Seifer came into the picture and I had so much fun writing about him (and Raijin too…..you can tell that I was watch TV while writing by the “Gold Fish” song….heheheh”) that I decided to make him into a main character. Ellone just sort of ended up in the cave and I kind of thought it would be cute if Squall’s sis (not really but theoretically) and his worst enemy got together.
When I needed some inspiration, I created my own characters such as Helen, Jaimen, and Quill. As time passed, I got so wrapped up in the story that my sister, WutaiCat, and myself would talk about what was going to happen next all the time and laugh at the dopey little scenes such as the story of Seifer and the “scary troll that sang children’s songs and made bracelets out of bones”.
Now, about the ending… possible sequel? I don’t really know yet. First, I promised Zell and WutaiCat that I’d write them an FF7 fic. Maybe, in the not too distant future, Seifer and his sweetheart, Ellone, will resurface in one of my fanfictions……with a better name than “Kempi Island”…..heheh.
Okay, that’s all, but if you have any comments for me or think I should make a sequel, please, please, please feel free to email me. Also, if you want to let me know your favorite character or scene or part, etc, in my story I would really like to know. And for all you people who have even the slightest inclination to write a fanfic of their own, GO AHEAD!! It’s really fun!!
