Quarterbacks - Overall it is a pretty weak class of QB's. There is some
depth but no real standout worthy of being a #1 pick.

1) Aaron Rodgers, University of California-Berkley
6-2.0 223 4.71

Love him, he can make all the throws. Lots of confidence and attitude.
Natural leader, can move around in the pocket. Spent a couple seasons
playing pro baseball, then JUCO football.

2) Alex Smith, University of Utah
6-4.1 217 4.75

Overrated. Everybody loves him. Graduated in 2 years, scored a 40 on
the Wonderlic. But I don't need somebody to split a freaking atom, I
want somebody who can throw a 20 yard out, he can't.

3) Charlie Frye, University of Akron
6-3.7 225 4.82

MAC quartebacks have had a lot of recent success. I think that is what
has teams so hot on Frye. Average arm, looked terrible in Senior Bowl
pactices but then had a good game. Average to above average mobility,
but he was running for his life out there, his line was brutal. Will
have to simplify the playbook.

4) Adrian McPherson, Southeast High School-Bradenton, FL
6-3.4 218 4.69

Hide your money watches and jewelry. Most important, your blank checks.
To say 'character issues' would probably be the understatement of the
century. If his heads on right, has Cunningham-type ceiling. Only QB to
lift at Indy. 23 reps on the bench.

5) Jason Campbell, Auburn University
6-4.6 230 DNR

Had a great senior season. Big kid with a strong arm, he can move well
enough to avoid the rush. Underrated accuracy. Beware of the supporting
cast, he had teo first rounders in his backfield.

6 Chris Rix, Florida State University
6-2.0 217 4.70

One of the best looking guys I have every seen. Just damn handsome.
Career underachiever at FSU. Came in a little shorter than expected.
Great athlete, lightning release, and a cannon. Small hands not sure
how he'll throw the NFL ball. I'd take him in a heartbeat. Great Day
2 value.

7) Kyle Orton, Purdue University
6-4.0 233 5.06

Despite popular opinion, I think he has enough arm. Good decision
maker in Joe Tiller's QB friendly offense. Drew Brees' emergence
certainly doesn't hurt.

8) Andrew Walter, Arizona State University
6-6.1 233 DNR

He's an absolute Statue. Injury concerns. Stock is failing because
he can't workout.

9) Gino Guidugli, University of Cincinnati
6-3.6 229 5.00

Tough kid. Likes to fight, you can't frown on that. Came to the Bear-
cats with a ton of expectations and probably hasn't fulfilled them.

Running Backs - Good class of backs. Quite a few kids who can come in
and start immediately.

1) Cadillac Williams, Auburn University
5-10.7 217 4.48

Tough everydown back. Very hard to bring down, plays bigger than his
size. There is a reason he got more touches at Auburn than Ronnie Brown.

2) Ronnie Brown, Auburn University
6-0.2 233 4.45

Great measurables. Jack-of-all-trades type of back. They used him everywhere,
tailback, fullback, h-back, wideout. Great hands. Doesn't have too many miles
on him because of the Cadillac.

3) Cedric Benson, University of Texas
5-10.4 222 4.55*estimated

He's logged a ton of carries over the past four years, has proven durable.
Character questions, theft, weed. Looked like hell without his shirt on.
I'd pass.

4) Ciatrick Fason, University of Florida
6-0.6 206 4.50*estimated

Good back who had a breakout season in 2004. Was called on to do many things
for the Gators. He'll end up a starter for somebody in 2006.

5) Vernand Morency, Oklahoma State University
5-9.5 212 4.60*estimated

Minor-league baseball player. 24-years old, but he's fresh. Last year was his
first as the featured back, he played behind Tatum Bell in 2003. Has great
burst through the hole, makes up for an average 40 time. Moves the chains.

6) Kay-Jay Harris, West Virginia University
6-0.3 243 4.56

Big back but not always as physical as you'd like him to be. Another guy who
was just a one-year starter.

7) Frank Gore, University of Miami, FL
5-9.3 217 4.63

Tough kid who's had a tough life. Showed amazing ability as a freshman in 2001,
averaging 9-yards a carry before blowing out a knee. Scored a combine low, 6 on
the Wonderlic, and hasn't regained his speed, but I'd take him in a heart beat.

8) JJ Arrington, University of California-Berkley
5-8.7 214 4.47
He's going to go higher than he should. He was the product of a great offense.
First year starter that lead the nation in rushing. Beware, his back-up
(Marshawn Lynch) averaged over 8-yards per carry.

9) TA McClendon, North Carolina State University
5-10.2 235 4.71
Injuries have killed him. They question his toughness. Looked like a first
round pick as a freshman and hasn't been healthy since.
