The Marine Corps and their families exhibit our nation's highest level of honor, courage, and commitment and they deserve the support of all Americans, especially after events requiring such sacrifice.

The Families of the 3/25 Marines will never be the same. As the press coverage of this tragedy fades and those of us not directly affected move on, their lives will be marked by the loss of a son. I plead for none of us to forget this. Also, I encourage all Ohioans to take their thanks and support a step further. Donate time or money to a related charity, write a letter, or fly a flag. If your neighbor has a family member in the military, take the time to thank them again and offer support. Our Soldiers and Marines will only return home victorious if their will and ours remain strong.

To the Marines and their families, You are in my prayers and the prayers of my family. We love you, god bless you, and may your Sons and Daughters complete their mission return home soon.
