I am only collecting her as a partial hobby. Not as a full blown collection. And of course, this will mostly be centered on non-80s items since I have no particular attachment to that look. I found Strawberry Shortcake roughed up at a thrift store, naked. So she stayed put 'til I could figure out what to do with her. About one month later, at the same thrift store, I found her outfit (no booties to be found and have lost the hat SOMEHOW?!), in seperate bags of Cabbage Patch and Barbie clothes... :) Her kisses still smell like plastic strawberries! *lol* All you do is push on her diaphram and out her mouth comes a sweet kiss. Next to her is Apricot, she has NO clothes!! Her kisses still smell as sweet though! I have 2 matching pens and 2 notebooks total that match this design. It can be found at Hot Topic and Torrid stores. New, of course. Berry Best Friends edition, 2003. Strawberry Shortcake with Custard, and Orange Blossom with Marmalade. I do have them opened, they are buddies to my TRU CPK girls. I hope to complete the set of Berry Best Friends soon. Each of these dolls is 5 1/2 inches with brushable hair and changing clothes and shoes. Maybe I will end up buying the set to complete. Not sure yet, where it is taking me. This doesn't include my pajama sets I have with various Strawberry Shortcake images and sayings on them; the sew on patches and buttons and the stickers I transformed into magnets for my fridge. I haven't decided if I want those up here, but perhaps.
