Hello and welcome to my webste! My name is Melerna R.W. Crandall- but that is just one of my many names. While taking you through my world I hope that you shall come to know me as "Rem". Rem means "Rapid eye movement". It is a name given to time in your slumber when your mind functions much the same as it does when you are awake. Some people believe that Rem sleep and dreams are quite directly related while there are of course others thatdo not. Now, I figure what you are thinking. "Tell me something I don't know!" Right? Well, Rem is just a nickname- and I figured it would be good to put some background story. Right! The website! Sorry about that, I tend to wander sometimes... alright. This website is all about journaling among other things. This is in essence an art site. I'm going to put up some photos and paintings- this will be like... my online room! And you are free to look around as you please. I know most people don't have much time- or feel like it- these days. With all the school work and job work and daily hassles no one gets to enjoy life or, well, smell the roses. I know my work is not the greatest, but I hope you will take a look at what this site has to offer whenever it strikes your fancy. Ummm.. yeah, that is about it. :)

About Me

Alright! I don't know how this editing thingy is going to work TOO well, but i'll figure it out! Okay. If you read the stuff above you know my name. Well, I am a sixteen year old sophomore. I lead an almost double life. The me at school is the overly hyper, perverted, outspoken (and acted) me, but here in my net room, like in my own room, I will be acting only on my own... feelings? In my comfort zone. I was born on August. 31, 1990. My hair is dark brown and is naturally curly. I have- now I know this sounds odd- auburn eyes. I am slender in form and am pretty much half Italian half Mexican. My father was someone of questionable heritage. He was a musician and a writer. He painted, too! Though to tell you the truth everyone says he wasn't a good guy. It's because he's still my legal father that I cannot leave this country. My Mom is also an artist, and a very strong woman. When my Mom got pregnant with me our entire family wanted Mom to give me up for adoption to this nice family that really wanted me. They told her that if they kept me it would ruin her life, and my father did not want me. My Mom let her parental instincts take over, and wouldn't give me up. We lived in my grandmothers house until I think... I was in kindergarden... so I was six. I was raised with my uncles and Dada, my non-related grandfather. My family has a huge problem with divorce. Mano (grandmother) eloped with My Mom's Mom, Papa, and then they split up. Regardless, my childhood was filled with sunshine and lazy days spent sliding down the wooden banister, gardening, and wrestling with my kid uncles (who are only a little older than me). I lived in a big white house in a area of town filled with trees, and I had a lot of fun. Mom moved us to the city into a small apartment we made our own around that time. I lived there until Mom was united with a childhood friend. We moved out to the country then, and I was ten at the time. Then after some really unplesant stuff, Mom sent me to go live with my grandmother. I lived with her until Mom met her current husband and married him, and then we all lived together in a duplex by my school until he got a job in California and we all moved there. I have known him a little more than five years, and this is my third year in California. I feel like he is still a stranger, though. I love to create. I love the earth- the seasons- the hours of day- history- storms- and fantasy. My room has a window in it that I look out often to gaze at a treein our complex. I spend most of my time daydreaming and drawing absentmindedly. I'm really very lazy. Okay! Now that I have told you my summerized life story I guess I could atart to tell you about my friends- but maybe another time, ne? -Rem
