Description

ZiNA is the code name for my set of iSeries tools, which consists of two main modules : Emulation and Data access. The Emulation module provides interactive sessions to iSeries systems, while the Data access allows full data retrieval. The ZiNA package also contains utiltities for creating EBCDIC-to-ASCII tranlsation tables and creating Emulation keyboard maps.
No software is installed nor used on your iSeries (except of course, for your OS/400 commands...).

Background

As a long time iSeries consultant (9 years), I've been using several tools for accessing different iSeries systems and many times I've encountred the same problems over and over again. One tool was lacking of hebrew support, the other was lacking of spool-files support, and the other was too damn expensive. As I saw no other alternative, I've decided to write my own set of tools. ZiNA is the result of more than two years of hard work, and I am proud to say, that it is the ONLY iSeries tool I use.
