Power Now Mod Pictures
         And Information
You can see with this PowerNow mod that it is close to the JamesNow mod. I wanted to leave it longer on the backside but as you can see I had to cut it down on the sides for it to fit into the airbox boot. On the back side of the intake you can see I used some JB weld to keep the plate inplace. I also put slots in the intake right near the back tabs to keep the plate from moving up and down.
Front of intake- You can see the sides of the plate are shaved down for the opening of the bell on the carb just behind the slide.
Back side of intake- In this picture you can see that I wanted to keep the plate as long as I could. You can also see I shaved down the side to 39mm to make it fit into the airbox boot.
The Front and Backside of the Powernow
Looking from the backside
The back side of the intake- where the cuts were made into the bell and where I added the JB Weld and smoothed it out around the edges.
I made up a drawing in photoshop but as you can see I'm not that good working with these programs. This picture will give you a idea on how to cut out your first template out of paper. You can see you have to trim it down from 40mm to 38mm to fit into the bell of the carb. You can make it longer but it all depends on how deep you make the cuts in the intake. Remember to make it a little wider than what it should be for a tight fit. You can always trim it down with a file. Also on the airbox side of the plate I couldn't keep mine squared off because it wouldn't fit nice inside the air box. This is where some people are having problems with even the factory made ones.
