raver: I am Raver[GL] from Hong Kong
raver: 20 years old.
raver: and I am the frist Pro-gamer in Hong Kong now
raver: I play both Quake3 and Counter Strike
xero: You play CS professionally as well?
raver: now is training everyday CS for some competition in Hong Kong now
raver: so I am turning Pro in CS
raver: before is focusing on Q3 mainly
raver: Because I want to bring my friends to WCGC this year for CS
xero: and where does that leave quake3? do you think that quake3 is slowing dying away, and CS is taking over?
raver: yes I felt so
raver: but I will not give up q3
raver: because q3 is the most professional 1 on 1 game in the world right now
raver: so I will keep training both game as well =)
xero: any tournaments you are planning to join this year for quake3?
raver: um..
raver: I think the most possible one is CPLasia
raver: because it close to me :P
raver: hope to see you there
xero: WHAT MADE YOU GO INTO PRO GAMING? AND WHY QUAKE3?
raver: that is because a tournament in Hong Kong last year
raver: the prize was HK$50k
raver: about US$6.5K
raver: so that's why I had the idea to turn pro
raver: and because my cousin introduced quake1 to me :P
xero: whats is your favourite weapon in quake3 and why?
raver: I like lighting gun and rocket launcher
raver: because both need you to have good mouse controlling to do them
xero: what are the most special moments in your career?
raver: I think which is when I can play q3 tournament over the world
raver: like in Beijing of China and Korea
raver: it was great
raver: I earned many life experience from them
xero: would you say that pro gaming is big in HK now, and do you think it will grow?
raver: It is just starting like as in singapore now
raver: I think it will turn it better later
raver: but it needs some professional gaming tournament to support it
raver: if no Pro-Tournaments
raver: Pro-gamer is no meaning :)
xero: is that why you went to korea to train with s37.Elan?
raver: Elan will go to Army this year may be
raver: so I can't see him that much now ;(
xero: can you say that training with elan improved your game by alot?
raver: yea it was
raver: I leared a lot from him
raver: and I am very grateful to him
xero: after quake3, what game is next?
raver: that is Counter Strike
raver: because of its popularity...
xero: but evrybody knows that Cs is more of Teamplay, what about 1v1?
raver: yes
raver: I mainly focus on CS as a team game only
raver: so I dont play it like in q3..where i play a different style
raver: I will play so teamwork with my teamate
raver: but you know..
raver: in the internet server..
raver: that is not many times which let you what is teamwork in the game..
raver: only rush rush rush
raver: hahaha
raver: only can enjoy the teamwork with your teamate in some CS match only :(
xero: maybe we can organice a CS match over the internet some day?
xero: hehe
raver: yea I think so
raver: we need some organizer to do it online
raver: hahaha
xero: have you played tribes2 or UT?
raver: No la..
raver: I saw my friends playing them though
raver: but I dont like those 2 games that much :)
xero: outside of gaming, what else do you do?
raver: eeee..
raver: I like to stay at home or go out for meals with my friends
raver: that is great ;)
xero: any sports?
raver: yea but not now..
raver: Gaming life reduce my time for sporting..
raver: haha
xero: how many hours do you play in 1 day?
raver: I think at least 4-6 hours per day
raver: but now I suspend q3 training..
raver: because I need to train up for my CS match
raver: :D
xero: what is your PC rig?
raver: oh..
raver: It is 1G amd with Geforce GTS 64mb ram..
raver: may be time to upgrade it man
raver: :P
xero: which quake3 player do you respect the most in the world?
raver: I think they are Fatality and Elan now :)
xero: how do you handle pressure?
raver: um..
raver: training more is the best way to solve this problem...
raver: then you will have enough confidence..
xero: i'm sure many would be interested in what mouse/pad you use?
raver: gaming mouse with a very cheap price but good performance mouse pad :P\
xero: care to be more specific?
raver: IKEA..
xero: gee..my dad works in ikea singapore
raver: lol
raver: that's great
xero: i got 5 mousepad at home
xero: but i dun use for gaming
raver: ship some mouse pad to me!!
xero: i see what i can do.
