Edward J. "Ed" Bourgeois is President of Centergy Consulting, is a CPA and has spent much of his career in the Banking industry where his experience ranges from being a teller, auditor, lender, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, President, CEO and Director. He has extensive experience in auto lending where he was instrumental in successfully growing auto lending operations nationwide.  His ability to understand, assess and analyze risks as well as develop risk mitigation strategies and tactics is a natural strength of his, where he pulls from his extensive banking experience and CPA background and education. 

Ed is an entrepreneur and has founded various successful companies to support and grow the Banks that he has been associated with.  One such company is INNOVUS, which he founded while President and CEO of First Bank and Trust in New Orleans.  INNOVUS is one of the top ten providers of ATM services in the United States.  They are the dominant ATM provider in the hospitality industry where they carved a niche early on.  The company's service level was developed based on the discerning taste of hotel guests of the finest hotels in America. Ed continues to approach service levels to his clients and their customers at that level.

Ed's strengths encompass a detailed knowledge of all facets of banking and auto lending as well as executive leadership and management.  Ed is an expert in high-level leadership and negotiation skills, strategic planning, cross-functional team building, profit enhancement, and organizational development.  His broad understanding of business concepts is exceptional.  He has achieved multi-million dollar savings through the implementation of cost reduction and restructuring plans. He streamlines existing operations, reorganizes unprofitable functions, envisions new concepts and future trends, and follows through with development, direction, and accomplishment.  Ed has strong people, communication, and interpersonal skills.  He balances tact with tenacity when interfacing with individuals on all levels and provides a sense of commitment and contribution to the overall success of team objectives.

Ed is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Louisiana Society of CPAs, and the New Orleans Chapter of the Louisiana Society of CPAs.

Ed is also a member of the Boards of Directors of the National Auto Finance Association and of Guaranty Savings and Homestead Association.
