You're Invited

... to walk (or on some, bike or paddle) with us on the historical and other trails listed below. They're sponsored by the Central Florida Chapter of the Florida Trail Association, and the public is welcome. Each hike is led by Steve Rajtar, who did the research and established the routes to be covered.

At each appropriate site, he'll stop and tell a little about the history of the building, or mound, or monument, or whatever's there or used to be there. You'll finish knowing more about the community's history and architecture than you did before. Plus, it's fun to do it as part of a group of interesting people.

You don't need to register in advance, and each activity costs nothing. There will be available optional embroidered patches with the name of the trail for sale for $4 each, but you don't have to buy one. Remember to bring essentials - good walking shoes for the walks, a helmet for the bike rides. Please also bring water to drink and, if it says we're going to stop for food, you can bring a meal or money to buy one (if we're going to be near a fast food restaurant).

Please Note - It is important to re-check this schedule at this web address close to the date of the activity - perhaps the morning of or evening before - to make sure there hasn't been a cancellation or change of time, date or destination. Any questions? Contact Steve Rajtar at rajtar@aol.com.
