Welcome to the PTC Home Page

Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, the Peninsula Tramping Club is a large friendly club offering a wide range of trips, mostly in the central part of the South Island.

The club consists of people of all ages who tramp for recreation.
We organise regular trips to cater for people of different levels of fitness and tramping experience. Our trips range from easy to hard, and may be anything from day trips to long weekends.

Various instruction courses run each year to improve members' skills for back country tramping.

We also hold a monthly club meeting, and a variety of social events.
