My name is Robert (bob) , My friends in geocities call me skyroamer or just sky, At times I am called many other names, But I won't go into that here.
I was born in Digby, Nova Scotia, Canada (that's on the east coast of the great white north, for all of you in the USA)
That was in january of 1960, Which makes me 40 years old at this time.
From the time I was 10 years old, I knew I wanted to be a pilot. So that is what I set out to do.
I grew up on the family farm and was driving tractors by age 12.
After I finished high school I got a job with a construction company as a heavy equipment operator and started flying lessons on weekends.
Got my private pilots license in early 1979, a commercial license in may of 1980, and a Helicopter license in december of 1981
I did four years in the naval reserve from 1976 to 1979 I got to travel and learned a lot.
In 1985 I started flying as a pilot for Civil Air search And Rescue. (CASARA) I am with the 802 CAS out of Digby N.S.
Currently I still live on the family farm, (have a few beef cattle) Do maintenance on buildings, and fly for air search & rescue.

 I love canoeing, camping, and of course flying. Other interests include war games (computer or board), Sailing and instructing at the local sea cadet unit.
