About Steve Dalbey...

Hi! As you saw by my welcome page, I am a graduate of Houghton College with a B.A. in Psychology, minoring in Outdoor Recreation/Leisure Studies. After living in Glens Falls my entire life, I've finally got a place of my own in Essex Junction, VT with some friends with whom I went to Houghton. Here are some facts on me.

Born: July 14, 1976

Marital Status: Dating.

Major, Minor: Psychology, Recreation

Things I like to do: Work on my computer, music (downloading mp3s), photo albums, driving and travelling, baseball, hockey, partying, play computer games, collect CD's, hike, camp, and contradancing.

Hometown: Glens Falls/Queensbury, NY

Favorite PC Games: Triple Play 2001, The Sims, Sim City 3000, NHL 2000, Total Annihilation.

My stance on MP3 Downloading: If I hear something on the radio I really like, I'll download it as a determining factor if I'll buy the CD or not or I'll use the download until I can save enough money to buy the CD. (Some examples are Deftones: White Pony and Supreme Beings of Leisure [self-titled].) If it's just a single, then I'll just DL the single. I won't bother DLing from Dr. Dre or Metallica because of their stance and I'll respect their wishes. But rather I think of MP3s as a great marketing tool and I hope it continues to make progress in MP3 availability.

Travelling is my passion, what I live for so to speak, especially travelling to the National Parks. I am attempting to see as many as possible in my lifetime. So far I have visited 53 parks out of 379 (in 2000). Click the link below for my summer 1996 travel experience to the State of Washington, to work in the Olympic National Park.
