A powerful and substantially build dog...

Quincy shows a very compact body. If you make a line starting in his neck topline, this line have to reach the rear knee joint and long the tibia. This shows you a dog ready to work and with a balanced gait. The loins should be well muscled and not to short, because this could interfere his movement. If they where too long, however, they would give a structural weeknes to the dog. The tail should be well furred, carried as a "waiving plume", not tighly curled to rest on back. Hindlegs must be powerfully build indicating an unusual strenght and propelling power.
