At this years St. Patrick's Day Parade downtown we broke in Dennis Oglesby (Guy in the back).  Dennis didn't run out of gas or anything.  I did hear that his ride ended up on top of a mountain while he was away.  That will teach you to leave your car unattended.  They do think they are big jeeps sometimes..  Welcome aboard Dennis!

*This Saturday, March 22, 2003, we are meeting in St. Charles – Main & Jefferson – at 11:00 AM to sell circus ads, sponsorships and tickets.  This is called TEAM Circus.  Daniel Boone Shrine Club will have the chuck wagon and be doing some cooking for us (donations accepted for food & beverage).  You must wear your Fez to sell tickets.  (We will be quitting around 2:00 PM.)

*March 22 is also the Chance-2-Advance class at the Webster Groves Masonic Lodge.  If you are available, I am sure they can use a lot of Masons to participate.  (Last I heard, there are 58 candidates in this class.)

*March 29, 2003 (Saturday) is the Circus Kick-off / Rush Party (mostly Rush Party).  This will begin at 4:00 PM and run until 8:00 PM.  Since it will be outdoors, we are not able to have our “Crab Races”.  Merle Truckenmiller has been advised that YOMO is joining Gateway 500 with their balloon/dart board and the raffle of a couple hams.  (All money goes to the Shrine Circus – not the units – so we are not losing anything by not having our own activity.)  In addition, Speakers Bureau Chairman, George Robinson, will have some Shrine Hospital for Children videos running.  George will need some assistance with this (especially since it will be out doors and we will need a TV to show the videos on.  Contact George if you will be able to assist him (cell – 314-581-1942).
