Fiend's Chase Set

        As a going away gift to the the spellfire mailing list when he would be gone for months, The Ogre, head judge of Spellfire, sent a working list he got from Kevin Melka to edit for the "soon-to-be-coming" spellfire expansion Fiends.  However, the set never came out.  Because of that, Ogre shared them with the fan base.  Notes are made below, with light blue being from Ogre, and green being from Yogi. This cards are not legal, and have no art.  However, they are interesting to read.  Enjoy:

Aria Kyra
Level 8 Hero - Forgotten Realms
Halfling.  Can also use thief skills.  Champions of level 6 or higher cannot defends against this champion.

Patriarch Beverly
Level 7 Cleric - AD&D
Immune of offensive wizard spells.  This champion can be sent to Limbo until the end of this player's next turn to prevent one non-event cards from going to the Abyss.

Babbette, The Jester
Level 8 Thief - AD&D
All thief champions in play must ask Babbette's permission to attack opposing realms.  One ally attached to her during combat is doubled in base level.

Moonshadow
Level 8 Wizard - Forgotten Realms
Planewalker.  If defeated in combat, this player can send a wizard spell from his hand to the Abyss to return her to pool.  If she draws a spell or event for a spoils for victory, immediately draw a second card and play it as a regular spoils.

To Die For
Event
Forces one champion anywhere in play to defend your realm under attack for one round of battle.  The event player supplies all attachments for combat.  If defeated, the champion is discarded and the owning player draws spoils.  If victorious, the event player receives spoils and the champion returns to his original pool.  All attachments are discarded.  (Harmful)

+5 Magic Item
Can only be attached to thief champions.  During combat, if the champion's total level reaches exactly "20" the opponent must discard all attachments.  (Off)

Deljuedes' Skull
+5 Artifact - Planescape
Can also be attached to any wizard champion.  This artifact negates an opposing champion's immunity to offensive spells and magical items during a round of combat.

Play on an opposing champion for one of the following effects:
1) Reduce base level to 0
2) Cannot attack or defend
3) Can no longer cast spells or use unarmed combat cards.
Lasts until negated.  (Harmful)

The Better Hand Wins
Event
All players add up the total of the last digits of all cards in their hand.  The winner searches his draw pile for one card to place in his hand.  Losers must send one card in their hand to the Abyss.  (Harmful)

The Guardian
Level 9 Hero - AD&D
Can only defend and never attack.  Any number of artifacts from any world can be attached to this champion.  The Guardian is the first to defend when you are attacked.  He is immune to all events (including helpful ones).

Michael Roele
Level 10 Regent - Birthright
A player with this champion can play one Birthright realm or holding that is already in play, causing the other to be discarded.  Offensive blood ability bonuses used by Michael are doubled.

Tanar'ri Warlord
Level 8 Monster - Planescape
Planewalker.  If somehow sent to the Abyss, the Tanar'ri Warlord returns to his pool at the end of the player's next turn.  He can also bring one spell, magical item, or artifact with him from the Abyss that goes to your hand.

High Master Illithid
Level 9 Monster - Planescape
Can use psionic power cards.  A player with this champion can choose to ignore the effects of a rule card in play.  If discarded for any reason all psionicists in play are sent to Limbo until the beginning of their players next turn.
1) I know that #13 (High Master Illithid) has a name that is already in use.  He was going to change it to something else, probably an actual name of one from somewhere.

The Gray
Realm - Dark Sun
Dark Sun champions defeated while attacking or defending this realm are sent to the Abyss.  No holding can be attached to The Gray.

and remains in effect until any other rule card is played.
        At the beginning of each player's turn, count up the number of champions in each pool.  The player with the most champions (tie going to the acting player) must attack an opposing realm that turn.  If he does not attack, the player must discard one champion to the Abyss.
2) #21 (High Up Man) is a lot like Necba, but it should read more like, "If the player whose turn it is has the most champions (or is tied for the most champions), he must attack during his phase 4.  If he does not attack the player must discard one champion to the Abyss"

Each time a non-event card of this player is sent to the Abyss, he draws one card.

The Shadow Sorcerer
Level 17 Wizard - Dragonlance
Avatar.  Discard one razed Dragonlance realm to bring the Shadow Sorcerer into play.  Immune to defensive spells.  Only the special powers of Dragonlance realms, holdings, champions and allies affect this avatar.  Limit one avatar per pool.
3) #23 (Shadow Sorcerer) should be immune to all spells.

Level 1 Hero - Planescape
Planewalker.  Berk gains +8 when defending any non-Planescape realm.  Planescape champions defeated by Berk are sent to the Abyss, but if he is defeated by a Planescape champion he is sent to the Abyss.

Planewalker; swimmer; earthwalker; flyer; undead; elf (drow); dwarf; gnome; halfling; dragon.  Can cast any spell, use psionic power cards, blood abilities, all unarmed combat cards, and thief skills.
