Useful Links in the Chain

Netrunner is all about connections to great resources, especially key for web runners like us.  Therefore, here is a list of solid URLs, what you can expect to find there, and why you want to be there.

Euromarket Consortium - http://www.oocities.org/SunsetStrip/Basement/9666
This is probably the most useful link out there.  This page is the home of the Netrunner Quarterly, the only continually regular Netrunner newslink.  It also has lots of other goodies, like being the home of the next link...

World Domination Home Page -

http://www.oocities.org/SunsetStrip/Basement/9666/goodies/wd2001.html
This shows how the current world championships are being played, and what the current standings are.  Also included are links to the judges, and logs of almost all the completed matches (which, all by itself, is a very useful resource).  Definitely worth using SeeYa on!

CCG Workshop - http://www.ccg-workshop.com
CCG Workshop makes games playable on-line, and now Netrunner can be played on any computer with any net connection and Windows 98 or more recent.  This is most definitely worth it and should be explored, since you don't even have to pay to use it (but get special features if you donate to their great cause).

Netrunner Weekly - http://www.darkpact.de/netrunner/netrunner.html
This page hasn't been updated in a while, but still is a great resource for players.  There are tons of old decks, some good commentary, and the only complete spoiler for all Netrunner cards made (including Classic).  Definitely worth the full seconds it takes to go over all the material here (the speed of most nodes require meerly a few nanoseconds)!

Wizards of the Coast Netrunner Page -

http://www.wizards.com/vault/main.asp?x=nr/welcome,3&c=nr
This official page by Wizards of the Coast has a few interesting things.  It has the complete and still official run chart, most card checklists, the cool Big Sell-Out varient, and some interesting storyline information.  It's worth raiding the corp for this info, even if it isn't worth agenda points any more.

Netrunner Trading Page - http://trade.mahasamatman.com/Netrunner
This is one section of the greatest card trading page on-line currently.  You can look up current trading lists, post your own have and want lists, and check the references of anyone using the site.  It also covers many different games, and can even help you set up trade between games.  Plus, if you pay a cheap registration fee, you get more searching features.  Check it out.

Neal's Last Words -

http://web.archive.org/web/19990202212518/www.coos.or.us/~byron/
This restructuring of an old Node is well worth the read.  Neal is one of the games best players, and he lays out much of his old strategies and explains Netrunner that a novice can become a decent player just by reading and following his advice.  Seasoned players always find useful nuggets as they read as well.  He may not always be right, but he always has pretty decent reasoning.

Top Runner's Confrence - http://toprunners.freeservers.com
This was the old players' organization, but was last updated in December 1999.  It still has mostly valid in rulings and errata.  Plus it has a large set of links that can help you find the least travelled and sometimes most interesting webpages.  Look while it's still there.

Madison City Grid - http://www.education.wisc.edu/erdmann/MadCity.html
This is Jason Erdmann's page, and does much that the old TRC page used to do.  The best feature is the best and most up-to-date list of Netrunner links dedicated the game.  If there is a current page out there, you can find it on the Madison City Grid.  There are also cardlists and other cool stuff, but Links are what the MCG does best!

Paul Grogan's UK Netrunner Page - http://www.runestonegames.com
This page serves as the core for the United Kingdom's Netrunner Grid.  It includes tournament reports, decks, card lists, and a great option rule page, including the restrictions they use for Grid tournaments.  Take a look and enjoy some very tasty information (light on calories)!

These were the absolute best pages I could find.  If you have another page you find very useful, let me know, and I may add it.  Good run to you!
