Ummm!!!
A partial view of the great city Baaarcelona... This city enchanted me with it's beautiful Gaudi architecture, lovely people (how can i forget the lady who walked with me for more than 15 minutes in the Catalunya maze to show the directions to my hotel) and the ever lively La'Rambla.
Valentia...
A view from the top of the beautiful cathedral, La Seo. The city where i was so close to meeting rajiv, but couldn't. We also missed the Tribunal de las Aguas(Water Court).
What's this????
Well, me and murali asked the same question. I should say this is the highest burial ground i have ever seen and this happened in the beautiful mountain village in cordova.
Bull Fight for the first time...
Atlast i saw the killing of the bull. I still remember the shock expressed by the 3 girls who were sitting next to me, and one of them did cry. It was fun to hear about this game, but after seeing the killing my perception changed. My respect for this poor animal has increased a lot. I particularly remember the bull that charged and badly hurt the matador when he was acknowledging the applause for the kill. Only after it hurt him the bull collapsed to die for sure. It made it's mark on the matador and on me as well.
Flamenco!!!
Somehow, i am jinxed with this dance, the last time i saw was during Vasanthahabba and my eagerness was damped by the performance. At malaga, i did see a good show but found it a bit drag.
The lady in the center and the rolls we could not find to click more photos. Umm...
In Alhambra palace .....
Made me remember the Mahabharatha story of the palace built by maya in Indraprastha, Duryodhana stepping in the pool..... and the rest as they is 18 day war, Ah! Stories
