The Story Behind The Club

Ynys Maerdy Football Club is a newly founded club. The club has been put together by many people over the last couple of months. Most of the club's organisation was done by the club's owners, Mr Dennis Mitchell and his wife Mrs Annette Mitchell. They and many of their friends have worked hard to establish the club. So far they've had much success in organising funds, sponsors and team equipment. This year we hope to take our teams, u17 and the u18's, through cup and league campaigns. Being our first year in action we're not expecting any amazing results but be asured that the effort and commitment by both staff in the club and the players themselves will be commendable.
