I chose to be a hotel clerk as my first job. Because of my training in the Japanese language and my outgoing personality, I felt well fit in this job.
My second job called for an advertising-solicit in a newspaper agency. Due to the challenges from this job, I felt that, had I more knowledge in the business field, the job would be less difficult. The main reason why I decided to come to the United States is to further my education with the MBA program. It will also be an important achievement in my life's plan.
In addition, during my academic career, I was the vice-president of the Soochow university's student body. Through the tireless work of the extracurricular activities, I found that it was very important to organize my resources and do my researches though.
Now, I will tell you why I chose Texas. First, Houston is the fourth largest city in the United States, and it plays an important role in the business field; it is very ethnically and culturally diversified. Second, taking about two years to complete MBA program is also advantage for our international students. Finally, I hope to be cultivated in the international view by living abroad, but also get the strict training from the university's system.
