The "YES Musketeers", is a brand new concept. 

The YES Musketeers are a group of volunteers having fun and finding their purpose by giving!  

Seeking to improve the lives of others without reward, without recognition, and sometimes without thanks, and most definitely, frequently without reason.

This is not just another charitable organisation.  This is a group of FUN-loving individuals determined to “pay-it forward”!

Have you ever just picked up a piece of rubbish just because it was there? 

or helped someone up that had stumbled? 

cleaned an old friend's glasses?  

or made someone smile just because you knew you could.

Have you ever had someone say to you "you made my day!" ?   

and how did that make you feel?

I believe that all of us want to "make a difference" in some way whilst we're on this planet.  If we can contribute in some way without the need for significance or recognition, we will feel better inside about ourselves.

All truly great people are known

for what they gave

not what they got

The Plan
Each month the "YES Musketeers" will be assigned a task, such as "top-up a stranger's parking meter", "offer directions to someone holding a map", "gift a bottle of water to a security guard/doorman", "wave to all kids everywhere", "stop to speak with a lollipop lady or a cleaner" (and especially make a note of asking & using their name in conversation).

How does it work?

Simple, you do a good deed (mostly without recognition or reward), your only desire is for the recipient of your deed to “pay it forward” and do a similar good deed to at least three others.

Will that make a difference to the world?

You bet!  Even if you only help three people in a year, by making a positive difference in their lives, they may in turn make a positive difference in the lives of three others.  That suddenly affects another NINE people.  If each of them do the same, TWENTY-SEVEN new people have been touched as a direct and indirect result of your good deed. So only three levels down, you have positively influenced the lives of EIGHTY-ONE NEW individuals plus the original one and subsequent three, nine and twenty seven!! That makes 121 lives you have touched, as well as your own!

Now how good would that make you feel?

Next Stage
All "YES Musketeers"  will be given a membership number.  There is no membership fee, but it will be nice to keep a database and even geographical details so that we can have well-deserved FUN events and even a party or two, and co-ordinate members by notifying you of events in your area. 

Giving your time & energy to a just cause, with no desire for reward, no need for recognition can be FUN, and VERY fulfilling.
