Technical information:

These pieces were bisque fired to cone 06 in an electric kiln, glazed and then fired to cone 10 in a gas kiln. I love dipping and pouring my glazes best, but experimented with spraying and brushing, and mixing glaze recipes I scoured from my big sister potters. I am also working with slips and carving techniques.

I have been making pots for about 5 years, and work mainly on the potter's wheel.  I'm a native of Miami, FL.  Most of these pieces were made at the extensively equipped ceramics studio at
Miami-Dade Community College, where I had access to the studio 6 days a week, 12 hours a day. I made about 55 pieces in 6 weeks!
