Dias Ragu

Guilt

Elle feels guilty for the trouble she caused for Dias. Dias had been in line to become a Sevalle. Unfortunately, by then, he was too weak to compete at his best. Instead it was elle who became a Sevalle.

Dias never made Elle feel guilty for the sacrifice he made for her. It was Elle who blamed herself. Because of this, their relationship became awkward and distant.

Elle and Dias

There is little doubt though that these two siblings cared for eachother dearly. One cannot help but smile at the way Elle pussyfoots around dias. It is also easy to imagine the elder ragu watchfully waiting with silent longing for the time when his little sister will once again run to him with open arms and affection, just as she always did a long time ago.

Dias and Gau

Instinctively, Dias accepted Gau. Like Vy (Scarface), he saw enormous potential in the boy. Unlike Scarface however, Gau was not only a pupil but family. Unofficially, he appointed himself Gau's guardian and older brother just as Elle had adopted Gau.

As expected, both Ragu found it easier to open up to Gau. What a charmer he is. :)

Battle of Blourdahan

Dias Ragu is not only a valle known widely as the fierce Black Wing, he is also a master blacksmith. Considering that Soulafan wanted to kidnap him in order to force him to make weapons for its army, he must be extremely proficient in his craft.

The soulafan army instigated a stragety to lure the 59th Sevalle away from Kuruda. Their main target was not to destroy her but to distract her. The conclusive battle will be at Blourdahan, home of Dias Ragu.

Black Howling

It was in the battle of Blourdahan that Gau chose to be known as Black Howling. He had promised Elle that he would protect Dias, and by himself, he set out to defeat the soulafan army whose troops numbered in the thousands.

After the battle was over, rumors spread far and wide of Black Howling who had bested a thousand men.

Dias in Kuruda

After Blourdahan, Dias came to live in Kuruda. He rented an apartment located in the city proper. He and Elle were still on awkward terms. It would have been fun if he had stayed at the Green Octopus. Unfortunately...

Anyway, Kyou would usually visit and cook for him around midday. Kyou had grown fond of Dias and sees him as an older brother or uncle. Admittedly, it must be refreshing to kyou to talk to someone who took her seriously.
