Clermont County's Staff Sgt. Keith Matthew Maupin
R.I.P.
This page is for those of you across the country who aren't aware of who Matt Maupin is, he was captured in Iraq on April 9th, status was updated in April 2008 to Deceased, after his remians were found and identified.  He was in the U.S. Army, and was 20 years old when he went missing.  He is from Batavia, Ohio.  He is very loved and missed by many and is in everyone's hearts, even though some of us never knew him!  We wish his family nothing but the best, and hope they can begin to heal now.
A new area inside East Fork State Park has been dedicated in honor of Matt Maupin! The pavilion will be located in the rowing area.  He was a member of his high school rowing team.   Please stop by & check it out.
