Yelapa is unique----there are no cars here, in fact no road at all. Its a rural sea-side resort village with a gorgeous beach ringing a peaceful bay. There's a beautiful clear seasonal river, waterfalls, deep pools for swimming and lots of hiking trails. Terrific restaurants right on the beach or in the quaint hillside town. You can rent horses, kayaks, hang-gliders, or just relax on the beach.

Our wonderful palapa and sleeping casita are designed for your comfort and sense of adventure. Palapas are fantastic palm-roofed houses with open walls. Big wide open spaces to let in the view, the fresh breezes, and the butterflies and hummingbirds. The houses are furnished (of course there is a hot water shower) including a full kitchen in the main palapa. They're set in fabulous gardens with tropical flowers and coco palms.
