Our kiosk is meant to supply background to research presented in the exhibit.

Iceland is considered a land of Ice and Fire. The Background of these pages is not fire, but Icelandic sunset (the darkest time of day during Icelandic summers).  Inland Desert (pictured here), takes up a substantial part of Iceland with glaciers covering most of surrounding hilltops.  These and other images can be found in our kiosk
