I live, quilt and garden in Virginia with my husband, Dave, a few cats and a very spoiled dog.
On this page you will find pictures of a few of my quilts and my garden, and a bit of information about me.
Art and quilting are a part of my heritage. My grandmother and great-grandmother were accomplished quilters. My grandfather's sister was a professional artist. I have been interested in art since I was a child and began doodling pictures of horses in the margins of my books. My family quickly made sure that I had a supply of more appropriate drawing paper, and I've been creating things ever since.
I attended Virginia Commonwealth University where I earned a B.F.A., but it has only been in recent years that I discovered the art of quilting and found my real passion. Lucky me!
I am currently an active member of the Virginia Star Quilter's Guild and the Cabin Branch Quilter's Guild. I occasionally make and sell quilts locally on commission, and many more of my quilts live with family and friends. |
