Yasmine Bleeth was always a knockout. At 6 months of age, she was the Johnson & Johnson baby in advertisements. At age 6 years she was featured in a makeup commercial. Shortly thereafter she was one of Scavullo’s Women in a photobook of that name, and was cast, at age 12, in the feature film Hey Babe (1980). While attending the United Nations School in New York (Bleeth speaks French and English and is the daughter of an international model and a photographer), she worked steadily on camera as a model and in the daytime television dramas Ryan’s Hope (1985 to 1989) and One Life to Live (1991 to 1993). Graduating from high school and soap operas at approximately the same time, the young beauty went on stage off-Broadway with the one-act plays Welcome To My Life and Looking For It, and appeared in episodes of several television series, including Boy Meets World and Herman’s Head. She was cast in the 1994 films The Force and Ghosts May Kiss, then went on to the role for which she is most famous: that of a lifeguard on the television series Baywatch (1995 to 1997).

That popular show brought the actor, not only the spinoff film Baywatch The Movie: Forbidden Paradise (1995), but a string of other projects: A Face To Die For (1996), Talk To Me (TV - 1996), Maximum Surge (full-motion life-action CD-Rom - 1996), Heaven or Vegas (1997), The Lake (TV - 1997), and Crowned and Dangerous (1997).
