Dr. Yasir Hameed
Dear visitor

Welcome

My name is Yasir Hameed, I am a doctor from Iraq.

Although I do not have the honor to live at this moment on my beloved Iraq soil, I feel always bound to it.

Like many Iraqis outside Iraq, I am looking forward to the day that Iraq will be again a prosperous and sovereign state.

On my personal web site, which I hope to be of use to you; you will find a variety of information about my life as a student in the College of Medicine- Baghdad University, and as a doctor in Baghdad hospitals.

It also contains an exclusive section about my memories of the Iraq War of 2003 when I was a doctor in Al-Wasiti Hospital in Baghdad.

Your feedback is essential to improve the look and content of my personal web site. I will be very happy to receive your suggestions through my e-mail.

Thank you in advance and I hope that you enjoy surfing.

War Diary of 2003
The inspirational statue of Sherhzad and Sharyar in Abu Nuaas Street, Baghdad.
It represents the  medieval Middle-Eastern literary epic which tells the story of Scheherazade, a Sassanid Queen, who must relate a series of stories to her husband, King Shahryar, to delay her execution.
The stories are told over a period of one thousand and one nights, and every night she ends the story with a suspenseful situation, forcing the King to keep her alive for another day.
The individual stories were created over many centuries, by many people and in many styles, and they have become famous in their own right. Notable examples include Aladdin, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, and The Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor.
