POTLUCK
July l9 is the YAA potluck, Honoring
members who have passed The 75 year mark;
however, all members Are welcome.
It will follow the regular Watercolor class.

SPECIAL NOTE:  No phone calls can be
made or received if you are using the credit card machine.
We have only one line.
This probably doesn’t happen often but be aware.

SITTERS Please note: we should not have dogs in the gallery, even on a leash.
Most are probably well behaved,
but you can’t have some and restrict others.

Thanks for your consideration.

CRAFT GALLERY
Please do not change things around.  We have a chairman who spends a great deal of time seeing that the craft area is attractive. If something is sold, replace it, but otherwise please do not rearrange items. If you do, unfortunately you will be restricted from exhibiting for one month.

SPECIAL LOGO We have a member who can print the logo on the guy on the sign on just about anything—sweatshirt,    T-shirt, cap, or tote bag.  If you’d like one, bring your item to the watercolor class on Monday.  He says he will do it for small fee.

ART CALLS - This will be our show  in
October at the Visual Art Center with Tom Allen
as juror.  More information will be in the next newsletter.  The information is on our website

There will also be a Harry Niemela Retrospective. If you have one of his paintings, we would appreciate it  if you would loan it for this event.

Lincoln County FairIf you would like to participate in this event, pick up one of the “Exhibitors Guide”  pamphlets at the fairgrounds.  This has all the information you need—time to take in, cost $2 to register, which includes a name tag to get in.  Ken and June are chairing this for YAA.  Awards are given for lst, 2nd, and 3rd places.  People who have participated say it’s fun.

BAY WINDS STUDIO is open in South Lincoln City.  Artists can take their work in. They will take 25% commission, and if you would like to demonstrate some weekend, they welcome you.   Contact them 994-4480, 4830 SE Highway 101

We will have information for you on the Oyster Cloyster Festival Art Show at the Aquarium in  November.  All art work must have an oyster in   it to be accepted.  The show is juried.

Don’t forget to get your staffing hours in.

A program was a TV show.
Windows were something you had to clean.
A keyboard was on a piano.
A cursor was profanity.
Memory was something you lost with age.
A CD was at a bank.
If you had a 3-1/2 floppy, you hoped no one found out.
Log on was adding wood to the fire.
A backup happened in your toilet.
Compress you did to garbage.
If you unzipped in public, you went to jail.
A web was a spider’s home.
Enter you did in a door.
And a virus was the flu.

All this from a novice on the computer.
