Comments
Neil joined Blues un october 9145, after serving in the RAF during WWII and guesting for Coventry City and Walsall. He won a League South championship medal and appeared in the 1946 FA Cup Semi-Final, and was an important member of the side that won promotion in 1948. After joining Plymouth Argyle in 1949, he later went on to play in almost every postition for them, except goalkeeper over the next 10 seasons.
