The Yadkin Valley Confederate Heritage Association
The Yadkin Valley Confederate Heritage Association is a Living History Association comprised of The Tarheel Milita Home Guard and the 38th North Carolina Troops reactivated.
By joining the association you have the option to serve under The Tarheel Milita Home Guard as a North Carolina Soldier of the War Between the States to participate in Ceremonies, Living History’s and Memorials. This is more for those who wish to portray a North Carolina Soldier but does not have the time to travel to battle reenactments and wish to do something more on a local level.  Or you have the option to serve under the 38th Infantry Regiment; North Carolina State Troops reactivated as a civil war reenactor and participate in battle reenactments locally in the state of NC and throughout surrounding states. Participating in such battle reenactments as Gettysburg, Antietam and etc.
Also by joining the association you are not limited to just one.
Both the Local Home Guard and the 38thNCT work hand in hand to preserve North Carolinas Role in the War Between the States and in Honor of the Soldiers of NC.
The Association’s members are located throughout the Yadkin Valley region of NC including such Counties as Wilkes, Yadkin, Stokes, Surry, Forsyth, Davidson, Davie and the surrounding areas.
