Just spent a weekend at a symposium sort of thing about sci-fi cinema (COFIB 51: The shape of men to come) A weekend full of lectures and movies and interesting enough people.. some more than others..
The film that surprised me the most was Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. I have seen Oshii' s Avalon but this film took my breath away! It has so many layers of meaning to peel.. The combination of the maintheme with the images gave me goosebumps..
IAnd the snow made the weekend all the more magickal!! |
