Plugging Letters To You, where you can get your site reviewed!

My last day of school is on June 11th. After I take my Spanish final that day, I'm done with junior year. Four more weeks 'til then. Thank God. This school year was basically a trainwreck.

I think I'm losing my voice again. I say that like it happens a lot, but really it's only like every 370 days. Seriously, I get a sore throat and lose my voice every year. Last year it was around May 10th (I checked wayy back on my comments). Four years ago it was around April 10th (um, it was around my friend's birthday). So yeah. It only bugs me, not just because I don't like when my throat hurts, but I feel temporarily inferior for not being able to talk all that much.

The Art History AP Exam was on Wednesday. What a day. I was really freaking out about it and therefore I refused to do any work in any of my classes prior to testing. I didn't even get dressed for gym, and I have never been unprepared for gym class (ever, from 6th grade to now, I've gotten changed every day). I don't know if Mr. Chew is taking points off, but if he does, I can at least make them up. Unlike if I got changed and studied while throwing around the softball. Then he'd dock participation points that I can't re-earn.

Let me tell you about the good luck I had before the test. My friend Mary and I went to the library for the test, except it was moved to room G-208. But while we were in the library, we saw B-Shaw, one of our favorite teachers, who wished us luck and gave us "good luck hugs," thus boosting our confidence. So then when we got to G-208, it was dark and empty, so we decided to go ask our Art History teacher what to do. On the way, I encountered Holmsie, my favorite teacher, role model, and mentor, who also wished me luck. Now tell me, what are the chances that I would run into my two most favorite teachers on my way to the AP Exam? I'd say "slim to none," as Holmsie said to me when I asked the next day.

Anyway, the AP Test was actually really easy. There were only a few that I know I didn't get, but I think I definitely earned a 4, which is what I need to get credit/higher placement at most of the colleges I'm looking at. The test took from 12:30 to 4:01, and after two hours of writing essays, I was pretty much done with school for the day, lol.

Today was my Physics test on Thermodynamics. It was really easy... like ridiculously easy. I got a 96. You would think that if I didn't know the laws of thermodynamics, and I had a test on thermdynamics, I wouldn't do that well. Guess that logic is flawed.

I talked to my guidance counselor on Monday about colleges I should look at, and I'm feeling a little better about that. I've got a list of colleges with my intended major, and I'll plan to check those out this summer. I think I'm going to ask a couple teachers if they'd be willing to write me recommendation letters, too, before they get swamped with them in September.
