6/December/05 - The MonkGreen engine was a reasonable success. It was the first one of my engines i would actually classify as an engine. I'm not going to release the source or a demo as the upcomming game i am working on uses much of it. The source code for that will be released. Details comin soon mianly because the game its self has only been outlined (one of the great parts of an engine. you can go any where even after the engine has been developed). Its about 30% complete. Love billxtasy

20/September/05 - Took another one of those massive breaks from computers. Its probably a good thing though considering usualy my coding improves during these periods. Computer was slurped so all my projects were lost including Chicken Flag... again that was probably a good thing. Started a new project called Monk. Monk will be a series of engines and other utilities. I've started on the MonkGreen Engine which will be a simple 2D engine. Check the page. Also check out the links. The bioscythe project is unreal

15/December/04 - This is the last update post about ChickenFlag. From now on updates and other news will only be on the ChickenFlag main page (link below). Check it out for update news and download links

14/December/04 - From now on i am going to delete old news after every post. Ported both the client and the server to SDL. So they are now cross-platform. This port fixed the connection bug however several other minor bugs popped up here and there. They should be fixed soon though. The server has also been made public. All files are avaiable on the ChickenFlag page. The lag when playing over the net (compared to lan) is an obvious problem that I know how to fix how ever it takes time.

8/December/04 - Updated the AI app (AI_GUI Demo v2). Nothing changed to the AI but some major improvments to the GUI systems.

5/December/04 - Well the AI app I was working on turned into a test app for my new GUI libraries. You can download the program below (358kb zipped). Although the GUI is cross platform this app is windows only. I will probably write a tutorial on how I made the GUI systems rather than the AI it self. It is exam week for me however so don't expect any thing soon. Current GUI capabilities are buttons and lists. Check it out.

4/December/04 - Very strange and confusing bug in the network code. It'll take me I while to figure out. Mean while added the MUD Server to the downloads. Mainly so i could grab it and test it out.. but its there if you want it.

4/December/04 - Alright games isn't fucking workin cuz i can't find a computer to host the server. So development is paused until i fix that (should be tommoro) (actualy today considering it 2 in the morning). Any way I am writing a short yet rather cool app that focuses on AI and will probably be accampanied by a tutorial. Speaking of tutorials i have removed tutoiral1 (the only tutorial out on this site). I decided it was actauly dangerouse to read and should be destroyed. I have also relised that C++ can be learnt any where (www.gametutorials.com/www.cprogramming) so tutorials on this site will be more specific from now on

2/December/04 - Nearly a year since last update. I stopped programming for a while and took a break to get on with other things. How ever i am back to this little site that no one visits. Looking at some of the stuff on this site specially GunWars some of it wasn't bad. If i continued with GunWars (its gone for ever) it might have had a chance. Any way new game in development this time it is networked. Links below. New alias is Hazman
