Rosalind Franklin It was Rosalind Franklin's x-ray diffraction photographs that gave Watson and Crick the evidence they needed to prove the double helical structure of DNA. She was not given proper credit for her work at the time, but eventually she was and is now recognized for the great scientist and pioneer that she was, not only as a scientist in the world of DNA, but as a female in the world of science. |
