Torture: The Saw

1.
There is nothing special about this saw, other than that it is a plain, woodsman's saw, which by the hand of the executioner will
bring restitution for the victim’s crimes. Because they will be hung by your ankles and allowed to remain in such a state for some
time before their trial begins, blood will supply plenty of oxygen to their brain, and begin to pool in the upper portion of their body.
This is important, for as the blade is placed between the victim’s legs and the sawing begins, very little blood will be lost. They
will remain alive and fully aware as the saw is drawn slowly downward, each stroke bringing it slowly through their genetalia, the
pelvic bone, and finally into their abdomen. There is no cause for rejoice as an early death is quite unlikely. Many of the victims
will remain alive until the blade's teeth reach their navel, and some will even endure until the chest cavity is split open.

2.
The saw is one that may be worse even than being burnt at the stake with a slow, small fire, or being dipped into boiling oil. Due
to his inverted position, which assures ample oxygenation of the brain and impedes the general loss of blood, the victim does not
lose consciousness until the saw reaches the navel – and even the breast, if one is to believe accounts of the early eighteen
hundreds.
