| Who is Shakaar Galeed? Many have asked this question, few have the courage to find out the answer. Now, laid out for us all to witness, is his story: Shakaar Galeed is a fallen Arch-Angel. His name in Heaven had been Gabriel, the highest in the order of Arch-Angels. Gabriel is the begotten son of Lucifer, the first of the Angels. His mother, Sin, was also an Angel. Once God found that original sin (sex) had been introduced into Heaven, He became so enraged that He had thrown Sin down to the Earth, where she met Adam and became known as Lilith. From their union was spawned the first Nephilims, half-breeds of incredible strength and power. Also, from this stock, came the giants. Angered by God's actions, and jealous over Sin's union with Man, Lucifer began to plot against God, though doing it in secret. Or, so he thought. God had found out about Lucifer's plot to overthrow him, and was ready... When Gabriel was still but a mere babe, Lucifer struck out against God's loyal armies, igniting a war in Heaven that nearly ended in it's destruction. This war lasted for two full decades, leaving behind countless casualties on both sides. Many thousands of angels lost their eternal lives during that war of jealousy brought on by a woman... When Lucifer was defeated, God did not only punish him by casting him into Hell, but also forced him to watch as his own son, Gabriel, now the equivalent of 21 human years of age was granted his fathers place at the top of the ranks of Heaven's Arch-Angels. Then, to add further insult to injury, God ordered Gabriel, the new Angel of Death, to cast his own father into Hell, though, at the time, Gabriel had no knowledge that his father was Lucifer. He had, even to this point, thought that he was just like all the other Angels, created by the hand of God. For centuries, Gabriel served faithfully at God's right hand. Then the day came that he learned of his father's true identity and the circumstances of his fall from grace. From this information spawned a jealousy for mankind, the race that his mother helped to bring about, even though she was forbidden to even see her first-born son. This jealousy soon turned to hatred, spurred on by the thought that God favored Man above all others, especially since he gifted the race with souls and free will. No Angel in Heaven possessed such things. This, in Gabriel's eyes, showed that to God, Angels meant less than the "talking monkeys" of Earth... From this hatred, began a second war in Heaven. This time, it was not for the leadership of all of Creation. It was for our very existance that this war was fought.... |
| Gabriel thought that his mind was his own. This is not true, however. Though Lucifer's body was indeed trapped in the basement known as Hell, his influence extended far beyond the distance that seperated the two. Even in Heaven, Gabriel's thoughts were directed by his father. War broke out in Heaven again. Brother once more fought against brother. In less time than it took to end the first war, Gabriel was defeated utterly. Then, God spoke to him: "Thou hast shared thou father's ambitions. Now, thou shalt share in his fate." And, with those words, Gabriel was stripped of his position, saw that it was handed to Michael, and was cast into Hell with Lucifer. There, Lucifer imbued Gabriel, now known as Galeed, with Hell-born powers and energies. Thus, Galeed became known as The Black Angel, Hell's version of the Angel of Death. For centuries, he rained terror into the hearts of Man. Then, he met the bounty hunter known as Hawk Cloudwalker... Hawk had been commissioned to hunt down this murdering fiend by the inhabitants of a Realm known as Faerie Land. Galeed had destroyed several of their villages, slaughtering their inhabitants without a thought or care for their lives. Men, women, even the children, all died at the hands of the Black Angel. Hawk tracked down this merciless killer, eventually meeting him in combat. After a fierce battle, in which mighty energies were unleashed by both sides, Hawk eventually triumphed over the Black Angel Galeed, destroying him utterly with a special attack known only as "Holy Wave"....or, so he thought. |
| Galeed was 'reborn' on the Earth as a normal mortal man (see picture at right). Taking the name Ringmaster, he began the process of reclaiming his lost power, as well as his father's favor, which he lost by losing to a mortal. It was during this time that he made his appearance among those of the Realm of Eden. Still carrying his hatred for Mankind, he would slaughter those that crossed him indiscriminatly. Many hundreds fell at his hands and blade, which he carried concealed as a diamond-capped cane. He also weilded incredible magickal powers, though they nowhere near matched the power he held as an Angel. It was also during this time that he met his half-brother, Black Raven, as well as began to visit a place known as Hogwarts. There, he struck particular terror in the heart of one known as Paisley, whose parents he killed right before her young eyes some ten years before. Raven, whom Ringmaster began to think weak, had fallen in love with Paisley, and intended to marry her. Ringmaster warned Paisley that if she were to influence Raven in any way, he would take her life, himself, in the most painful manner possible. However, Raven soon disappeared, and Ringmaster also began to change, for not long after this he had met the first love of his life, Beatrice Dantes, a mortal woman. Also around this time, he began to relearn his former powers, and regained a portion of his old form, though it was daemonic in appearance (see picture below) |
