Prologue The time has come upon us once again. Time to prepare ourselves for another attack courtesy of Sigma. His objective? To rid the planet of human beings and existence as we know it. His means of getting this accomplished? Send out the most powerful Repliforce anyone has ever seen. The catch? These new robots are built exactly like humans so there's no way of telling what's what. Despite all of this, I fear that the worst is yet to come, so that's why Dr. Cain has called upon me and Mega Girl. 
I received an urgent call from Zero, and he brings disturbing news: Sigma is back, and more powerful than ever, especially since he has reincarnated himself into something unknown. He has also sent out an army of Mavericks and Reploids to destroy the earth, this time making them look and behave exactly like humans so that it's more difficult to hunt them out. Zero and I are ready to fight, but unfortunately X's suit was severely damaged in the last encounter with Sigma's forces. Are we ready to take this task on? ~Mega Girl |
