Most of what I do is called pixel painting. When you pixel, you use a paint program like PSP to create images dot by dot. By saving them as "gif" files, you can animate them. It's lots of fun. Sort of a mix of childhood games like coloring books and dot to dot. The difference is, if you mess up, you just click "Edit, Undo" and you get to have another go. It's highly addictive and very entertaining. Check out some of the thousands of images I've created over the years. Below you can click on links to take you to pixel painting groups where I have membership. These groups add to the fun because you share ideas, outlines, and tutorials with other folks who have the same addiction.

Things I'd like to say, but don't have the nerve. Note: I work as a high school secretary, and lots of times I really can't say what I think. I'm just a smart a** at heart.

My July 4th Creation

I used an outline from Chalkboard Outlines for the truck. I drew and pixeled everything else. You can find over 400 outlines on Glenda's site at the link below.

Chalkboard Outlines

I had so much fun practicing my shading on the truck guy, I decided to do another. All this is from my own little mouse.

I listen to country music almost exclusively, thus my love for NASCAR, country singers and guys with trucks. This next one was inspired by Brad Paisley.

This one I created just because I had an idea I thought would be cute. I did every pixel myself, then animated it.

Where to Learn this Stuff -- My Groups

I actively participate in Creative Tutorials to learn more about PSP, pixel-painting and animation. Creative Tutorials is an MSN Group led by Sauce. It is very laid back, and you are not required to post something every week. I am also a member of WOSIB. All women over 18 years of age are welcome here, regardless of race, sexual orientation, or religion. We do not discriminate against anyone for anything beyond their control. You will find a vast amount of diversity here, and that is what makes us stand out. No one here is the same, yet we are all treated equally. We welcome all women with open arms. Please consider joining us, you won't regret the experience of friendship and family. Surf around and let us know you were here by signing the guestbook. There is tons here for anyone to do, not necessarily just members. Please check both links below if you would like to join either group.
