We are the products of Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai. We are 'The Class of 2000'. We are proud of our alma mater and shall make her feel the same about us.
We are the 49th batch that has passed out of MIT. Every person who has graduated from MIT is unique. The uniqueness of our batch among these is that we were the first batch to have Higher Secondary students, also, for the B.Tech programme.
We may be different from our seniors in the qualification but, we share the same affection towards MIT.
We are named 'xlix' because that is the Roman equivalent of 49 and we belong to the 49th batch of MIT.
