HephaestuS and Xena have never had any conflicts, up until Xena brings about the Twilight, as with all the Olympians Xena has never had any conflicts with most of them, except for Ares, but other than that the Olympians didn't have any conflicts with her either until The Twilight-and so Hephaesetus is killed by Xena.
